Overview
During a sync process, the following error message appears:
"Tenant for the selected user does not match the previous tenant selected"
Issue
This message appears when the Microsoft tenant the service is attempting to sync users from is different from the Microsoft tenant used in a previous Sync.
Solution
If there is a need to Sync users from different Microsoft tenants, customers first need to disable Sync in the service portal.
During the next sync, log in to the correct Office 365 user account for the Microsoft tenant needing to be Synced.
